“Inclusion is not a strategy to help people fit into the systems and structures which exist in our societies; it is about transforming those systems and structures to make it better for everyone.— Diane Richler”

Inclusive means everyone, together!

  • Dream it.

To me, Inclusive Education means establishing an environment where every individual, irrespective of their background, abilities, or distinctions, feels valued, respected, and supported in their learning journey. This goal can be achieved through various methods. However, I believe that acknowledging and honoring both Indigenous knowledge systems and Western knowledge systems as equal entities is crucial. By doing so, we can effectively decolonize education and foster a more inclusive environment for everyone.

  • Build it.

Preparation meets opportunity, and what do you have? Success. Part of inclusive education involves ensuring all individuals are prepared to seize opportunities by providing them with the necessary knowledge, skills, and support. It's about addressing barriers and biases to create a level playing field where everyone has the chance to succeed.

  • Grow it.

Through inclusivity, collaboration, and support, we empower each individual to reach their full potential and contribute meaningfully to society.
